Stitched & Stenciled Class Blog is HERE
REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS ONGOING
Yep! We're at it again. More Pure Experimentation, this time in book form. This is the first, in a series of a la carte online classes, to cater to the wildly creative, yet distracted artist & crafter within. If you are ready for a lighter serving of Stencilry fun this is it!
Pure Experimentation: STITCHED & STENCILED is available at this time ONLY to those students who have already taken Pure Experimentation: Stencilry
In this project-based class we'll be stitching up a painted, & stenciled book that is small in size, but rich in texture & imagery. Each page is a wild exploration of color & pattern combining everything you learned in the first STENCILRY class. By the end, you will have completed a visual manifesto of your stenciling journey.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a sewing course, but a sewing machine is required. If you are a good creative problem solver you can probably figure out how to do everything by hand. All of my lessons involving sewing will be machine-based. Neither the PDF or the videos will include information on sewing by hand.
- Stitched & Stenciled will be available on the day you REGISTER (but you can begin anytime after that you feel like it!)'
- The class blog and all of its content will be available until AUGUST 1, 2010 for those who register any date AFTER October 1, 2009
- The class blog and all of its content will be available until MARCH 1, 2010 for those who registered any date BEFORE October 1, 2009. You can extend until August 1, 2010 for an additional $20
- Because STITCHED & STENCILED is only available to previous students, pre-registration is necessary for anyone wishing to take this class.
HOW TO PRE-REGISTER:
- Send me an email. Include your full name & email that you used to register for STENCILRY. Put: PRE-REGISTER in the subject line of your email. I will send you a registration link.
WARNING: All of the stenciling will be done with spraypaint. You may certainly use acrylic, but I will only demo with spraypaint. Spraypaint is a toxic substance. If you have known toxicity or environmental concerns or conditions please take these under serious consideration prior to registering.
A fast computer & high-speed internet service to process & watch the videos will be vital. If
you were able to view all of the videos in the last class w/o interruption, you'll be just fine.
