I made this crock pot chicken pot pie. I recommend you make it if:
A. you hate yourself
B. you hate a friend and want to get back at them for something
otherwise. just don't.
iPad scribbles! done with sketchbook pro app for ipad.
good messy fun. the one on the left is from a rug i saw on pinterest.

After much scrutiny, I came across a crock pot cookbook called Not Your Mother's Slowcooker Cookbook. Amazing recipes and good advice. Wishing you much better results in your future crock pot adventures!

You just made me laugh. What a disappointment to work hard at something, expect a nice result and end up with that. I like Real Simple, except for their recipes...

...if you hate yourself...LOL! Thanks for the laugh!

and here I am with my first slow-cooker EVER! Yes, I reached the age of Medicare without one. What to do, what to do?

So do you have some good recipes to share for slow cooker food?

There's a little grocery store near me that makes pot pies. However, they don't look like the one you made. The big chunks of meat and loads of vegetables are completely encased in delicious top and bottom crusts, and the things weigh about as much as a 700-page book (think Harry Potter). Your real simple creation looks like a stew with a popover perched on top. It could be tasty, but I have a feeling you're a golden top and chewy bottom crust kind of gal (like me)!

I was all excited when you wrote previously that you'd made pot pie; now, not so much. Maybe I'll just buy one.

my question is, DID you get the hair you wanted with the hair that you have?

It looks worse than I imagined! Yech! The chicken pot pie recipe was a crock. He he.

Well, I am not sure that I understand this. I am not fond of that magazine, color me old as hell. I certainly am. Color me Real Simple..I just don't get that mags. It is very much too beyond simple to me.
However, I do love you, simply and goodly, and forever.
Love your iPad scribbles.
Rotary dial e. and little e.w. loves you.

There is something about your orange crock pot that is just too alluring and sexy! I can see that once you own one there is no turning back. Makes my stainless electric pot look very boring and matronly - hehehe.
Have you tried printing the doodles from sketchbook? Love your colors.

Mary Ann--you crack me up. When you wrote you were making a chicken pot pie in the crock pot I immediately thought "don"t do it".....some things are just not meant to be....
