my cute friend sent me this cute website showing this cute keyboard.  the one on my screen down there...

i got really excited and in about 25 minutes i had my own cute keyboard.

and that made me really really happy.  and it made my fingers really happy because basically they feel like they're typing on little candy cubes.

so thank you Eng Gee Fan for your genius idea that filled me with the desire for cuteness.

its pretty easy to do. i did it while transferring pics from ipad to imac...snip snip snip
the tape is on really securely. i dont see it peeling up any time soon. the constant tapping of the keys seems to prevent that.
love the reaction i get when people come over and see it. FUN in more ways than one!!!

Brrrilliant! I have a habit of tapping my keyboard like I'm still on a typewriter (that's right, I'm THAT old) and I have to replace my keys because I WEAR THE LETTER OFF!...this is a great solution. From Q-Pop, right?.....so many fresh and fabulous ideas around this joint....

Did you hand cut every piece of tape by your little self? Definitely impressed/awed/wowed and open-mouthed. Very precise cutting, can't tell if you rounded corners as well. Also, you seem to have a broad selection of tapes.. fun. I can now imagine you tripping (literally and figuratively) through the cottage embellishing more surfaces with tape-y goodness. Onward M.A.!

I thought about it awhile back for a hot second, but then I realized that because I have no feeling in my hands, I often have to look at the keys to get the right words to appear and if I cover up the letters, I'd be kind screwed, so I didn't. Adorable though, truely.

Crap - I had that idea years ago when tripping on Acid -- not the small pill form easy to sallow drug, but the kind you make when you mix bleach and that other cleaning stuff and fumes seize your bronchioles and you get a head rush. Waaaaaaah, I could'a been a keyboard contender!
