these and the lanterns are so utterly cool!

These paper lanterns absolutely knocked my socks off!

M.A.- As my mother used to say, "damit to hell" those lanterns were gob stopping amazing, and then I scroll down to see my weakness... pinwheels.
Dang it girl, you are gonna have work full time if you are gonna spend your vacation time tormenting us with this beauty! Damit to hell.
xoxo

these are so wonderfully wonderful! :)

Fantasamogoric! I am making these to use as a valance on my otherwise boring and plain studio window. You are amazing and so much fun!

These are utterly delightful!

Love em Mary Ann. The papers are perfect. I can imagine a boquet of these, tied with a bit of scrappy ribbon. Small ones on pages in a journal, hanging as garland....such sweet when harmony happens between color, paper and a trusty sewing machine.

Awesome with the light coming through. Love those colors.

still loving these. they look so cool in the window. especially love that last pic. great job, thanks for sharing.

These are absolutely glorious!!!

G-or-or-geous!

These would be beautiful in the garden mounted on heavy gauge wire that could be stuck in the ground. Could they be made waterproof with a clear spray or laminated before being sewn? They'd look like giant pinwheels. Not that they aren't gorgeous on the windows...just another wild idea when I saw them.

Zing! Zap! Zang! I love how your sewn paper into pinwheels have come to life in the sunlight of your window. Super creative Miss Moss. Vacation definitely agrees with you. Happy creating...

Yay! So beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for the sun on this cloudy, rainy day!

These are so fabulous--how are you actually stitching them together? Are they on some kind of a circular base?

OMG girl..you are on fire! With this post and Friday's post, it's obvious you are scorching hot and having a very good time. Keep up the good work.

These are amazing, MA - you've really set my brain whirring too! You'll be making patchwork quilts next - same technique!
